Session Description
A high energy session exploring how leaders create environments that hear, see, connect, and value the essential input of their diverse teams and customers. Everyone wants to feel valued and know they are part of something important. It’s hard to feel that way, however, when you aren’t seen or heard. You might feel your accomplishments go unnoticed, exterior barriers get in the way of your success, or you’re not part of the “in” crowd. Your teams and customers should be the loudest voices in leadership’s decision making.
In this session we’ll discuss methods of building inclusive cultures by developing systems to listen, see, connect, and value the input from your team and customers. The methods will focus on: Balancing your perspective as a global leader with the input you receive; Actively seeking out input from the quietest in your community; Developing tools and best practices that promote open sharing of ideas; Closing the loop on how to show value to those who share.
