Shaping and Understanding Park Performance

Session Description

This session explores how data-driven decisions help theme parks plan, operate, and adapt in real time. It focuses on how factors like seasonality, expected attendance, and operating hours shape daily operational “blueprints” that guide staffing, guest services, and budgeting.

Speakers show how tools like Net Promoter Scores (NPS), Wi-Fi tracking, and combined data sources—from ticket sales to weather—help monitor performance and identify areas for improvement. They also introduce a multidisciplinary data team that supports the entire organization, creating a continuous cycle of shaping and understanding park performance for better guest, employee, and financial outcomes.
