Session Description
Meaningful training cannot solely rely on content. Trainers must also examine how a training program’s preparation, delivery, and engagement impact a learner’s understanding of their workplace responsibilities. Once trainers understand how adults learn, they can begin to build stronger training programs and increase workplace performance. This presentation identifies principles of adult learning and examines the relationship between adult learners and training strategies. Participants will analyze different training procedures for the workplace and discuss the benefits of taking a learner-centered approach. Participants will also examine how multimedia can be used to create effective training.
