Course Description:
This course outlines how to first decide what story you want to tell in your attraction experience, and how to shape it into a "story ball" – a complete story with a beginning, middle, and ending, with multiple story units at the same time. It also instructs you on how to set up the elements that bring the world of the story to life: from the landscapes, audio, touch, and smell, to the ultimate integral part that really makes it real – the actors.
This 40-minute course includes practical examples to help you understand how to design a memorable experience, as well as how to select and train actors, and create real-world connections when marketing attractions/events. This course also includes a knowledge test to reinforce concepts and is an important course for all team members involved in the design or development of immersive entertainment.
