Session Description
In recent years, there have been a significant increase in the number of criminal indictments against amusement park executives, directors, managers, and ride inspectors. Criminal prosecutions used to be very rare; but recently, criminal cases are becoming much more common due to the impact of social media. This session will explore how social media has impacted the frequency of criminal cases being filed; and also, strategies on how to minimize the chances of a criminal case being filed for an injury or death at your park.
