Public Relations Foundations: Media Training


Course Description

This course teaches the importance of creating media contacts, how to pitch to those contacts, what materials to then provide those media outlets, and what tips and tricks to use for interviews. It also instructs how to build trust and, therefore, symbiotic relationships with your media counterparts post-interview.

This 30-minute course includes multiple inline activities to aide in your understanding of how to obtain the most coverage for your attraction, best etiquette to ensure an interview is both effective and engaging, and the steps you should take to appropriately follow up. This course also includes a knowledge check to reinforce the concepts and is a vital course for any team member, especially those who work within your Public Relations and Marketing departments.
